Monica Jackiewicz in jo and iain, portrait sessions

Spring has come and flowers are blooming. So are my lovely brides to be. The other day I took one of the couples I'll be photographing in May, to a flower market where we shot their portrait session. A beautiful day, sunny and warm, so not like March in London! It was a great warm up before their wedding. Both Jo and Iain were wonderfully relaxed (well, not at first!) and it shows they enjoyed the day with me as their paparazzi :)

I have chosen a few sweet locations in East London beginning with Columbia Rd Market, there's this amazing little gallery called Ryantown you must check out their lovely treats. You will notice Rob Ryan's folk cut out designs in one of our photos below. From there it was only minutes to the Birdcage pub with its fantastic original green tiles. This feature background inspired me so much we shot at least 10 different frames there!

At the end of our session I've realized we've started and finished it on the stairs, first in Crouch End moving on to Kenwood House, isn't it romantic? I hope you will enjoy this brief preview of Jo & Iain's photo story. I will soon be off to photograph their wedding in beautiful part of Poland, Jelenia Gora near Karkonosze Mountains. So make sure to check it out early June. Have a beautiful Spring everyone. Almost here for good.
